Snapchat Makes The Holidays With New Lenses Just For Dogs

Talk about happy holidays! Now Snapchat lenses officially work on dogs and who doesn’t want to spend all day, every day filtering their furry friend?

If you’ve been waiting for Snapchat to be good for you and your pup, you’ve no longer to wait. Gone are the days where you’re trying to stay still and move the phone juuuuuust right to take that quick shot where the filter works right on your dog.

And, after Snapchat officially became feline friendly last month with lenses just for kittehs, you wonder, “When? When will Snapchat be puppy friendly?”

The answer is now.

Now you won’t be the only one with dancing pizza or reindeer antlers that fit perfectly on your head. And honestly, what says Happy Holidays better than that?

Snapchat says there will be a few of the dog-friendly lenses on the way in the future, as they are continually improving their object recognition technology. Snapchat last year introduced smart filters that identified things and provided overlays based on what it recognizes in the frame. More like that are on the horizon for pets.

In the meantime, enjoy trying to get your dog to sit still enough to be Rudolph for the day. We have to say, they look pretty stinking cute!
